We did a survey to analyze, how are the homepage layouts of a few popular Indian websites. Some questions for which you may find answers here:
1) What content / widgets to show on the homepage?
2) Which is the appropriate place for some widgets?
3) What are popular widgets in the ‘priority 1′ zone of users attention?

Posterous is trying to radically simplify the signup process. It is a blogging site where you can post anything (MP3, Video, files etc).
